Cirencester Philharmonia Cirencester Phil, 2013

Cirencester Philharmonia is a friendly, versatile orchestra based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

We perform two concerts per year in the Cotswold area from a varied repertoire.

After our concert in May 2017 Cirencester Scene said

... The courage of the Director, the Leader and the players in tackling some challenging works shows that the orchestra is on a path of development for which they should be proud and for which Cirencester and the Cotswolds can and should show increasing support...

Next Concert: Saturday 14th October 2017. For details click here.

The orchestra is fortunate to have both the world-famous pianist Martin Roscoe and the world-famous organist and conductor Ian Tracy as patrons of the orchestra. We look forward to a fruitful relationship with Martin and Ian in the future.

The position of leader has become vacant from the Autumn 2018. Please enquire for more information regarding this exciting opportunity with an established and successful orchestra. Due to the success of our most recent concerts, we are also looking to recruit more string players next season. Other instruments are always welcome to apply, as future opportunities could arise to play with the orchestra. Rehearsals for our next concert start Sunday 3rd September 2017 - for more information please contact us using the enquiries link below.
